Seven Overlooked Facts on the Impending Kingdom of God

  1. Christ said, “the kingdom of God is within you,” (Luke 17:21) but this is not what the disciples were looking for when they asked in Acts 1:6; Will you restore the kingdom to Israel at this time? He didn’t say no, or that it would never be.
  2. Christ’s reply was, “It is not for you to know the times and season…” an expression found only once before that in Daniel 2 where God sets up kingdoms and takes them down, and in that chapter, it’s set up in the ‘toes of time’ verse 44.
  3. But while it was not for the disciples to know the times and seasons, (they might have gone back to fishing), Paul said we know the times and seasons perfectly. What’s the difference? Paul was speaking prophetically of the end-time when we which are alive and remain shall be caught up, and of the “times and seasons” you know perfectly, for the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night—when they shall say, ‘Peace and safety,’ sudden destruction comes, as travail on a woman with child. 1Thess 5:1-3.
  4. Paul was alluding to a time of judgment as God afflicted Egypt and took Israel to a covenant by which they became His kingdom. Egypt travailed as in childbirth (text above) Egypt deserved judgment for killing babies, but the US has aborted 60 million! Egypt enslaved Israel, but the US has enslaved most people in alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, drugs that we call “healthcare” but http://LeadingCauseOfDeathPrescriptionDrugs.com People are in bondage to food, fashion, fiction, greed, gambling, sports, sex, perversion, porn, TV, violence and violent music. We’re due for judgment, “as travail on a woman with child.”
  5. The Great Sign last fall was a ‘never-before convergence of planets and constellations matching the description in Revelation 12, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooaHRssYqxk This sign disappointed some rapturists, but the imagery of 9-month pregnancy points to this spring, 2018.
  6. The biblical time for judgment is Passover (Exod 12:12) but Jewish law provided for a late Passover in Numbers 9:10,11 and Christ’s closing parables support that timing, “as the days of Noah” when the Flood came with Passover timing, but in the 2nd spring month. That law also provided for a long trip in spring if a person couldn’t get back in time for Passover. This is how Christ ended His parables, “for the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country.” Matt 25:14. Our lack of familiarity with the law has led so many to miss the clues, but God won’t do anything without revealing it, Amos 3:7.
  7. The next verse (8) clues us to an earthquake, decoded from the “lion’s roar” if we look at Amos 1:1,2, Christ is the Lion of Judah who roars, also in Joel 3:16. A very large earthquake is coming, encoded also as a ‘knock’ for the lukewarm church in Revelation 3:20—that church in Asia ended in an earthquake circa 63 AD—type and antitype for us.

Passover (time of judgment) is also the imagery of Christ’s wedding parables that are misunderstood by many to mean a rapture, but the cry at midnight in Matthew 25, is an echo of the cry at midnight when calamity fell on Egypt for their time of judgment.
